About this document

Brugada Syndrome Diagnosis and Treatment by Hafiz Suardi is a document available to read on EtoBox.

Brugada syndrome is an abnormal repolarization of the right ventricular muscle due to sodium channelopathy, related to increased risk of ventricular arrhythmia and sudden death. It occurs more often during sleep, rest, or fever. The diagnostic criteria are a spontaneous or drug-elicited type 1 ECG pattern showing concave ST-elevation of at least 2mm in leads V1-V3 followed by a symmetrical inverted T wave. An ICD is the first line treatment.
