What is Grounding ADCs about?

Data converters (ADCs and DACs) are accurate and sensitive analog devices whose analog ports are vulnerable to unwanted noise. Mixed Signal Systems often have separate analog and digital ground planes in order to isolate their sensitive analog signals from noise which is often present on the digital ground. These should be connected together and to the analog ground plane of the system Even if the data sheet suggests otherwise.
