What is Imperial German Navy about?

The Imperial German Navy learned several important lessons from the Battle of Jutland in 1916. They increased the elevation of their main guns to match the range advantage enjoyed by the British Royal Navy. They also removed torpedo nets that had been damaged and posed a risk. The Germans replaced some lighter anti-torpedo boat guns with heavier guns and added more anti-aircraft guns. After Jutland, the Germans were able to eliminate the range advantage previously held by the British Navy.
