This study examined how three factors may reduce halo effect when evaluating customer experiences. It found that halo was less when measuring satisfaction immediately after consumption rather than delayed. Relative rating scales contained less halo than standard satisfaction scales. Evaluating many attributes reduced halo more than few attributes when using a standard satisfaction scale.
