The document describes the innovative Fluid coupling type TVVS. It has an additional annular chamber in the coupling shell that enables further reduction of starting torque. During start-up, centrifugal forces cause the outer chamber to fill with operating fluid from the working circuit, filling it less than couplings without the annular chamber.
