What is Tramadol Hydrochloride Transdermal Patches about?

This research article describes the development and characterization of transdermal patches containing tramadol hydrochloride using different polymers. Various transdermal patches were prepared using hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and Eudragit polymers with plasticizers and dimethyl sulfoxide as a penetration enhancer. The patches were evaluated for physical properties and in vitro drug diffusion. The batch containing 8:2 ratio of Eudragit RL-100 and HPMC showed the highest drug release of 79.65% within 12 h
