This study investigates the effects of cow-dung, nitrogen, and weed interference on the elemental sulphur content of onion bulbs in Sokoto, Nigeria. Results indicate that a combination of 15 t/ha cow-dung, 75 kg/ha nitrogen, and weeding at 4 weeks after transplanting significantly enhances sulphur content. The findings suggest optimal practices for producing highly pungent onions in the region.
