The study evaluated the safety and efficacy of systemic endovenous cellular viroimmunotherapy with dCelyvir (canine mesenchymal stem cells infected with the canine oncolytic adenovirus ICOCAV17) in dogs with high-grade rostrotentorial gliomas. Two dogs had partial responses and 3 showed stable disease, while treatment was well tolerated. The findings indicate dCelyvir is safe and presents efficacy in canine high-grade gliomas, relevant to ongoing human clinical trials of this virotherapy for diffuse pontine
