This study investigates the effect of conscious abdominal contraction on the activation of periscapular muscles in individuals with subacromial pain syndrome (SAPS). Thirty subjects participated, with findings indicating that conscious abdominal contraction significantly increased the activation of the trapezius and serratus anterior muscles during specific shoulder exercises.
