This study compared the efficacy of benzyl benzoate lotion versus permethrin solution as adjuvant therapy with crotamiton cream in treating 150 patients with scabies. Patients received either benzyl benzoate lotion or permethrin solution daily for 3 days, followed by a second application after 1 week. Both groups also applied crotamiton cream mixed with betamethasone cream for antipruritic and antiscabietic effects.
