The Pangi Elementary School held a PTA conference to discuss strengthening the gulayan sa paaralan (school garden) program. The goals of the school garden are to use it as an outdoor classroom, source vegetables for school meals, teach students gardening skills, and engage the community. Activities included cleaning the school garden area. The garden is now ready to harvest vegetables which will provide better nutrition for students.
