This study examines the experiences of teenage marriage among 7 girls aged 15-23 years old in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Semi-structured interviews were conducted and thematically analyzed. The study found 7 themes regarding marriage experiences: becoming independent, developing patience, maintaining social boundaries, becoming responsible, feeling inspired, staying positive, and doubting ability as a spouse.
