The study evaluated the use of the endoscopic transnasal transsphenoidal approach for lesions of the sella turcica region. 10 patients underwent this approach between August 2002-August 2003. Six had pituitary macroadenomas and four had cerebrospinal fluid leaks through the sella floor. Total tumor resection was achieved in 5/6 macroadenomas and subtotal in 1/6.
