What is 8086 Microprocessor Overview and Features about?

The 8086 microprocessor was an enhanced 16-bit version of the 8085 designed by Intel in 1976. It had 20 address lines, 16 data lines, and an instruction queue that could store up to six bytes, allowing for faster processing than the 8085. The 8086 supported two operation modes and used a two-stage pipeline to further improve performance over the 8085. It had several versions with different clock speeds and could access more memory and I/O than the 8085.
