Fibrinogen/tranexamic-acid/vitamin-k Disseminated intravascular coagulopathy: case report A 61-year-old man developed fatal disseminated intravascular coagulopathy (DIC) during substitution therapy with fibrinogen, tranexamic-acid and vitamin-K for depleted clotting factors [dosages and durations of the treatment to reaction onset not stated].The man, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer (PC) and treated with unspecified antiandrogen agents in combination with unspecified LHRH-receptor-agonists [gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor agonist], presented progressive multifocal osseous metastases involving ileum, scapula, sacrum and acetabulum. Therefore, he was again treated with unspecified LHRH-receptoragonists and unspecified nonsteroidal antiandrogen medication. During the course of disease in December 2020, he presented with disorientation and hypomnesis. He was found to have extensive calvarial lesion involving the left sided temporal, parietal and occipital bone. Thereafter, he underwent palliative radiochemotherapy.
