The colonoscopy found ulcerative changes and fragile lesions from 5-6 cm to 27-30 cm from the anal opening in the rectal mucosa. Biopsies were taken from superficial erosions up to 0.2 cm that bled upon contact. The conclusion was ulcerative rectosigmoiditis. It was recommended to consult gastroenterology and proctology for treatment after receiving the histology results.
