This document describes a technique for adding balancing ramps to nonanatomic complete dentures to improve occlusion and stability. Balancing ramps are customized wax additions placed behind the most posterior mandibular molars. They provide balancing contact areas that allow smooth mandibular excursions from centric relation to protrusive or lateral positions.
