Fatimah is a devout Muslim. Steve has never given much thought to matters of faith. The two of them happen to be walking down the same street when a terrorist bomb explodes. Author Rosemary Hayes researched Islam's background and Muslim attitudes with a group of devout Muslim teenage girls in Cambridge, England, to give this story a sense of authenticity and reality missing from so much of the discourse on this heated topic.
