What is Amyloidosis – a Case of Patient with Nodular Amyloidosis at Inzulin Injection Sites about?

Cutaneous amyloidosis is a group of clinically different forms. It occurs either separetely without involving other tissues or it may be a part od systemic amyloidosis. Specific subtype of nodular form of amyloidosis is AIns ( Amyloidosis at inzulin injection sites), where the inzulin itself is an amyloidogenic protein. This form is likely underdiagnosed in view of the fact that clinically similars to lipohypertrophy.
