This article examines cyber and offline dating abuse in a Portuguese sample. It discusses the prevalence of different forms of abuse like control, verbal-emotional abuse, and how cyber dating abuse usually occurs in a context of jealousy. The results showed relationships between control in cyber and offline dating abuse. Experiencing control and verbal-emotional offline abuse were risk factors for control cyber abuse victimization.
