This study investigates early adiposity rebound (AR) in patients with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) and the impact of growth hormone (GH) treatment on its onset. The median age of AR onset in PWS patients was found to be 16 months, significantly earlier than the typical onset in healthy children, and GH treatment appeared to delay this onset to 27.5 months. The findings suggest that early identification of AR in PWS patients could help mitigate future risks of obesity and metabolic syndrome.
