About this document

TIR and Diabetic Retinopathy in T2DM by wahid ali is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This research article investigates the relationship between time in range (TIR), time below range (TBR), and diabetic retinopathy (DR) in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients who experience hypoglycemia unawareness. The study, involving 298 patients, found that lower TIR is significantly associated with higher prevalence of DR, with TIR being an independent protective factor. The findings suggest that maintaining TIR between 70%-85% may be optimal for these patients to reduce the risk of DR.
