Can I read An Ultraviolet Fluorescence-based Method for Identifying and Distinguishing Protein Crystals on EtoBox?

An Ultraviolet Fluorescence-based Method for Identifying and Distinguishing Protein Crystals by Russell A. Judge; Kerry Swift; Carlos González is a Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology article available to read on EtoBox.

What is An Ultraviolet Fluorescence-based Method for Identifying and Distinguishing Protein Crystals about?

Intrinsic ultraviolet ̄uorescence has been investigated as a rapid non-invasive method for identifying and distinguishing protein crystals. An epi- ̄uorescence microscope, which provides for excitation and viewing of ̄uorescence from above the sample, and a straight-through geometry, which provides excitation from above and views ̄uorescence from underneath the sample, were tested with protein and nonprotein crystal samples. In both systems the protein crystals were observed to ̄uoresce brightly, providing a high contrast against background solution ̄uorescence, thus enabling protein crystals to be identi®ed and distinguished from nonprotein crystals.

Who reads An Ultraviolet Fluorescence-based Method for Identifying and Distinguishing Protein Crystals?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology.
