This study investigated the synergistic effects of tetrabutyl titanate (TBT) on intumescent flame-retarded polypropylene (PP) composites. TBT was added to a PP composite containing an intumescent flame retardant of pentaerythritol (PER) as a carbonizing agent and ammonium polyphosphate (APP) as a dehydrating/blowing agent.
