What is Dalek Invasion of Earth: Episode One about?

The Doctor, Ian, Barbara, and Susan arrive in London via the TARDIS, but find the city abandoned and decaying. Susan injures her ankle while exploring. Ian and the Doctor discover a dead body wearing a strange metal helmet in a warehouse. They are then chased outside by gunfire, where they see a flying saucer. Meanwhile, Barbara and Susan are captured by a man named Tyler, who takes them through the abandoned Underground, promising to retrieve the Doctor and Ian later.
