About this document
Komodo Dragon: Facts and Behavior by Dwayne Bauer is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The Komodo dragon is the largest living lizard, with a long flat head and scaly skin, that can kill prey as large as deer or water buffalo by eating up to 80% of its body weight at one time. Male Komodo dragons compete for mates by wrestling on their hind legs while supported by their muscular tails. Komodo dragons are found only on a few volcanic Indonesian islands and range widely over the terrain, seeking refuge at night in small burrows to escape the daytime heat.
