Jhanor-Gandhar is a 648 megawatt natural gas power plant located in Bharuch, Gujarat. It uses gas from the Gandhar gas field and water from the Narmada River. The plant supplies electricity to several states in western and central India. It consists of three 131 megawatt gas turbine units and one 255 megawatt steam turbine unit, and was commissioned between 1994 and 1995 with financial assistance from Japan.
