This research article presents an optimal control model for dengue fever, incorporating a logistically growing human population. The study estimates model parameters using dengue data from East Java, Indonesia, and analyzes disease equilibria, revealing that the disease-free equilibrium is stable when the basic reproduction number R0 is less than 1. The findings suggest that prevention strategies are the most cost-effective approach to control dengue disease.
