About this document

8086 Assembly: Clear 50 Bytes at 1000H by Gowri Shankar is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The assembly program clears 50 consecutive bytes starting at memory offset 1000H. It initializes the BX register to 1000H and CX register to 50 to use as a loop counter. It then enters a loop that moves a byte of zero to the memory location pointed to by BX, increments BX, and decrements CX, repeating until CX is zero to clear all 50 bytes from 1000H to 1030H.
