Central User Administration (CUA) allows user administration to be performed for multiple connected SAP systems from a single central system. In a landscape with many SAP systems, managing users individually in each system is time-consuming. With CUA installed, a user can login to the CUA system and use transaction SU01 to assign roles to a user, which will apply those roles across all connected systems. However, the user ID must be the same in each system.
