About this document
Underwater Electrostatic Communication System by Anton Dremlyuga is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This patent describes an electrostatic communication system for underwater transmission. It uses a monopole radiator antenna comprising two concentric conducting spheres separated by a dielectric layer. Opposite signal voltages are applied to the spheres via a transformer to generate electrostatic waves in the water. At a receiver, variations in the electric field are converted to a voltage and demodulated to recover the transmitted information.
