This instructable shows how to build a cheap security camera using an ESP32-cam board for under 5 euros. The camera connects to WiFi so it can be monitored from anywhere using a phone. It also adds a servo motor to increase the viewing angle. The ESP32-cam board is programmed using ESPhome to interface with Home Assistant, allowing the live video feed and a controllable servo to be accessed from the Home Assistant app. Additional features like automated photo capture are also possible.
