This study examined 50 cases of chemical eye injuries in Bangladesh between January and June 2013. The majority (70%) were alkali burns, with hydrated lime being the most common substance. Males aged 21-30 and 41-50 were most affected. Early intervention within 6 hours of injury led to better visual outcomes.
