About this document

Sound and Light Properties Explained by Faith Vijiga is a document available to read on EtoBox.

Sound and light are both waves that exhibit properties of reflection, refraction, and diffraction. [1] Sound is a longitudinal wave that travels through solids, liquids, and gases as a disturbance that causes pressure variations. [2] Light is an electromagnetic wave that travels in transverse waves and can be detected by the human eye within the visible spectrum. [3] Both waves increase in speed with increasing temperature or density of the transmission medium.
