What is Galileo Galilei about?

Galileo Galilei was a prominent scientist, mathematician, and astronomer born on February 15, 1564, in Pisa, Italy, and is best known for improving the telescope and supporting the heliocentric model of the universe. His experiments challenged traditional beliefs, leading to conflicts with the Catholic Church, which ultimately placed him under house arrest for heresy. Despite these challenges, Galileo made significant contributions to science, including discovering moons of Jupiter and the phases of Venus.
