This pilot study evaluated the effectiveness of the EndoClot polysaccharide hemostatic system in managing nonvariceal gastrointestinal bleeding across multiple centers. The results showed a treatment success rate of 64% for upper GI bleeding after primary use and 100% after secondary use, with an overall success rate of 83% in 70 patients. EndoClot proved to be a valuable addition to existing hemostatic techniques, particularly in cases where traditional methods failed.
