What is Bone vs Tissue Level Implant Study about?

This study evaluates the marginal bone maintenance around tissue level and bone level dental implants using a randomized controlled trial design over a one-year follow-up. The results indicate that implants restored with a platform-switching design exhibited significantly less crestal bone loss (0.01 mm) compared to those restored with standard matching-diameter abutments (0.42 mm). The findings suggest that platform-switching implants may better preserve crestal bone levels post-implant restoration.
