What is Iranian Communities about?

This research applies an extended theory of planned behavior (TPB) to predict the behavioral intentions of Iranian local communities towards forest conservation. The study identifies key factors influencing these intentions, including risk perception and sense of belonging to place, and finds that the extended TPB model improves explanatory power by 11.8%. The results suggest that enhancing risk perception among locals is crucial for promoting forest protection behaviors.
