This study describes the clinical features of syphilitic uveitis in patients treated at two tertiary hospitals in Johannesburg from January 2015 to June 2020. Out of 25 patients, the majority were HIV positive, with vitritis being the most common sign observed in 54.5% of cases. The study concludes that syphilitic uveitis often presents with posterior segment signs, and treatment generally leads to improved visual acuity.
