What is Vincent van Gogh: Life and Art Overview about?

Vincent van Gogh lived from 1853 to 1890. He was born in the Netherlands and had a difficult life, working unsuccessfully as an employee and preacher before deciding to dedicate himself to art. His early works had dark tones, but in Paris his palette became brighter under the influence of the Impressionists. Later, he moved to southern France seeking to open an art school, but his mental health worsened and he had to be admitted to a sanatorium. Despite selling very little.
