Recover My Files v5.2.1 was tested on its ability to carve graphic files from raw disk images containing fragmented and incomplete files. It was mostly successful at carving viewable BMP, JPG, PNG and TIFF files. GIF files were often viewable but incomplete. Files not aligned to sector boundaries were not carved. There were no false positives or unviewable files carved. Test images included files with no padding, cluster padding, fragmented in and out of order files, incomplete files, and byte shifted files
