What is GPS/INS Integration Overview about?
GPS/INS combines GPS satellite signals with inertial navigation systems (INS) to provide more accurate positioning. INS can only accurately track position for short periods as sensor biases accumulate errors over time. GPS provides drift-free absolute position fixes to reset the INS solution and calibrate out sensor biases.
