## Cytarabine/fingolimod/methotrexate Primary central nervous system lymphoma with EBV-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and lack of efficacy: case report A 50-year-old man developed Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) during treatment with fingolimod for multiple sclerosis (MS). Additionally, he exhibited lack of efficacy with methotrexate and cytarabine while being treated for PCNSL [routes not stated; not all dosages stated]. The man had his first MS outbreak in 2013, which manifested as diplopia. Next year, after presenting a new outbreak, with paresis of the left lower limb, he was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) under the McDonald criteria, and treatment with fingolimod [Gilenya] was initiated.
