This study evaluated a new surgical approach called nonincised papillae surgical approach (NIPSA) for treating intrabony defects. 10 defects in 10 patients were treated using NIPSA along with a hydroxyapatite graft and enamel matrix derivative. Results showed significant clinical attachment level gain, minimal postsurgical shrinkage, low morbidity, and rapid early healing. The technique aims to preserve the papillae and limit soft tissue shrinkage after surgery.
