PCs have six abilities - Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma - represented by a score and modifier. Ability scores determine certain limits for a PC and their modifier adjusts rolls. During character creation, ability scores are determined by race and may have class restrictions requiring a minimum in certain abilities to qualify.
