Can I read Macromol. Chem. Phys. 8/2007 on EtoBox?

Macromol. Chem. Phys. 8/2007 is a Materials Science article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Macromol. Chem. Phys. 8/2007 about?

Sequential anionic copolymerization opens access to the world of block copolymers. Plenty of microphase morphologies can be created especially with triblock systems. Moreover, when ferrocene is involved, special optical and electronic properties can be achieved, and no staining is required for TEM. Further details can be found in the Full Paper by C. Kloninger and M. Rehahn\* on page 833. ## Full Papers The reaction of living anions of polystyrene or poly(methyl methacrylate) with an excess of epibromohydrin in tetrahydrofuran (THF) at À78 8C for the synthesis of well-defined epoxy end-functionalized polymers is investigated. The products have been carefully characterized by MALDI-TOF MS, 1 H NMR, and SEC. All results indicate that epoxy-end-capped PS was obtained in quantitative yield. When the method was extended to the synthesis of epoxy end-capped PMMA, the extent of end-functionalization was high but not quantitative.
