This document summarizes research on preparing activated carbon from wood bark and evaluating its ability to adsorb copper (II) ions. Wood bark was carbonized and then activated using steam at 700°C and 800°C to produce bark activated carbon (BAC) samples. The BAC samples were analyzed for pore structure, iodine adsorption value, and copper ion adsorption capacity.
