What is 1998 Prankote Massacre about?

The 1998 Prankote massacre involved the killing of 26 Hindus in two villages in Jammu and Kashmir by Islamist terrorists. The villagers were killed after refusing demands to convert to Islam. It led to the migration of around 1,000 people from the area. In 2008, the alleged mastermind of the massacre was killed by Indian security forces.
