NuPolar Trilogy lenses require special handling during processing due to the polarized film layer. The polarized layer is positioned toward the front surface, so the groove should be placed toward the middle/back surface. Minimum edge thickness should be 2.2mm for plano and low power lenses. When edging, use a medium speed or fragile cycle to reduce chuck pressure and feed rate to avoid flexing the lens. The bevel should be placed toward the front of the lens within 1.0mm of the front surface.
