The study investigates the precipitation of sodium silicofluoride (Na2SiF6) and cryolite (Na3AlF6) from HF/HCl leach liquors derived from low-grade molybdenite concentrates. Using sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) for precipitation, optimal conditions were identified, with Na2SiF6 precipitating at pH 1.35 and Na3AlF6 at pH 4.0, achieving maximum recoveries at around 50 °C. The purity of Na2SiF6 reached 99.5%, while Na3AlF6 was found to be contaminated with Na3FeF6.
